Transparency

At Mundipharma International Limited, we are passionately committed to improving the health and quality of life of people and take pride in supporting a range of organisations through sponsorship and charitable donations.

We take a collaborative approach to our work; working with healthcare professionals, professional organisations and patient groups for the benefit of patients to achieve a better understanding of clinical and pastoral needs within oncology, pain, respiratory and inflammation diseases. We believe that we have achieved far more working together than we could ever have achieved alone. We are committed to ensuring that our relationships are transparent. When working with healthcare professionals we sometimes make payments to them for services such as public speaking, consulting and advising to reimburse them for their time and expense. We also provide financial support for healthcare professionals to attend meetings and conferences to contribute to their development.

Across Europe, our industry has announced its intention to disclose payments to healthcare professionals at an individual level in 2016 for payments made in 2015. In accordance with this and to ensure transparency of our partnerships, we publish the full disclosure of all transfers of value to healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations in accordance with the ABPI Code of Practice requirements. We also publish a list of patient organisations to whom we provide financial support and/or significant indirect/non-financial support.

Disclosures can also be found below by year.

Payments to healthcare professionals

As part of our industry’s commitment to greater transparency of financial relationships with healthcare professionals, we disclose individual payments to healthcare professionals from 2015. We have also detailed the total figure paid to all healthcare professionals as fees for certain services and sponsorship to attend third party meetings in previous years. This includes disclosing the number of healthcare professionals that received these payments.
